Barkers of Ringwood is an independent specialist outdoor shop conveniently placed in the South West of England on the edge of the New Forest National Park. We are here to respond to the needs of the demanding walker, trekker and mountaineer.

At ‘Barkers’ we aim to provide a warm and friendly environment where you can find a wide range of quality products in footwear, clothing, rucksacks and accessories. With our knowledge and experience we hope that we will be able to give you confidence and comfort in your kit by offering our personal advice and unique fitting service.

We don’t provide an internet sales facility because we believe that expert advice and the opportunity to “try things on” are very important.

Our product of the month page introduces what’s new to the outdoor scene whilst our blog provides the opportunity to share with our customers knowledge and experiences which we hope will be interesting and useful.
